The Ghost Story Tour of Washington
It's The Ghost Story Tour of Washington, now in our 11th year of haunting Lafayette Square. The fun starts Saturday, October 1st and ends October 31st. Fridays and Saturdays in October at 8:00pm. It's only $12.00 adults, $6 under 16 (rec. for 8 and up) and you meet the costumed, lantern holding ghostly guide at the McPherson Square Metro exit at Vermont and I (eye)St NW. The guide will have the lantern and ghost tour sign. No reservations and rain or shine The tour is accessible and fun! There will be ghosts on this tour! Starting in late August you can buy tickets online at www.historicstrolls.com or purchase from the guide at the tour. This is Washington DC's longest running costumed, character tour!

The Ghosts of Crowley Hall
Crowley Hall was built in the late 19th century and later re-opened as 'The Crowley Home for the Criminally Insane' under Dr. Bernard Leys supervision. It was closed after his death and opened again in 1970 as a Children's Hospital. Eventually it was closed in 1997 and has been derelict until recent renovations. During it's life, the hall has had a number of paranormal incidents suggesting the prescence of ghosts.
