In 1947, a brilliant but tempestuous businessman was able to fund and open an industrial ice business at 6330 Strawberry Lane in Louisville, Kentucky. The company was in operation for just over two years, ending in a bloody massacre that has been swept under the rug of Louisville history for years. For the first time, the Deatherage Icehouse is being opened to the public to bring this terrible secret to light. This is the story of Steven E. Deatherage.

This is the much anticipated and first ever haunted forest in historic harrodsburgs history. The forest is not open this year because the amount of time that it takes to set up but it will definetly be ready for halloween 2007. This is not a funhouse, it is designed for scaring you and halloween fans who enjoy it. The Demented Forest motto is ''Where Nightmares begin'' and we promise to live up to it. It is situated on 4 acres of land in histtoric harrodsburg woods and the trail is about a quarter mile long. Hope to see you next halloween.

Trail of Terror 2009
Event opens Friday, October 2, 2009 to the public, but only the bravest will survive this year’s newest haunted additions! New trail routes, frightening scenes and more! Experience over a mile long walk where you will experience a haunted hayride, an abandoned asylum, freaky clowns, an old witch’s village and scenes from horror films such as, The Skeleton Key, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw, Mirrors, and much more!
The Trail of Terror will be open every Friday and Saturday in October from dusk till midnight and the week leading up to Halloween, Wednesday, October 28 through Halloween Day. The event is located at 5354 Athens Boonesboro Rd. Follow the signs and look for the searchlights! Admission is $14.00 per guest.
