The Waretown Haunted Hayride
The Waretown Haunted Hayride is sponsored by the Waretown Founder's Day Committee and the Waretown Volunteer Fire Company. It is a two-day event featuring skits set in the woods around the Waretown Lake. There are real tractors and trailers with hay bales. Admission is very reasonable (see site for current info)and the money raised helps support the Waretown Founder's Day celebration and the Waretown Volunteer Fire Company. 1400 visitors attended last year's hayride in only two nights! This is due to the "word of mouth" advertising from the prior years. It just gets better each year! It is scary and one of the best amateur hayrides in the South/Central New Jersey area. Last year we scared you...this year we'll scare you to death!
