Journey Trails, the only haunt that lets you Choose Your Destiny.This year Journey Trails is offering 4 entertainment experiences;our famous Journey to Hell (our scariest and most intense attraction), the Journey to Heaven (more physically intense), also new this year is the Journey to the Past gross museum (full of gross antique replicas with full descriptions), and a community supported Scarecrow wagon ride trail where you will pass by various, unique, handmade scarecrows made by area businesses, groups and individuals while riding a casual wagon ride through the woods. ScareMare
Scaremare has been held at four different locations, including a mansion in Amherst County and an old hospital building in downtown Lynchburg. It presently operates at 2300 Carroll Ave, Lynchburg (the City Stadium exit off of route 29 North).
The Scaremare project continues in the planning process year-round, but swings into high gear from August through November. The House is opened to the public during various weekends in October.
Thousands of volunteer hours go into the preparations of this project. It takes a cast of 200+ Liberty University students to operate the House each night. Scaremare is sponsored by the Center for Youth Ministry at Liberty.
The House attracts hundreds of people every Thursday night. Friday and Saturdays can typically average between 1500 to 4,000. The all-time record for attendance on one night was 4,500 in 2007.

Scream Forest
Richmond, VA Dare to experience Scream Forest! Scream Forest is an intense walking adventure. We put you out in the woods on foot, with nothing between you and the creatures of the night where no one cares if you scream! Escape from the forest and you'll find the undertaker's cabin, a haunted house full of suprises. Scream Forest is open select nights in October, see website for dates. Gates open at 7pm and the Screams begin at 7:30. Tickets sold weeknights until 10pm and until midnight Fridays & Saturdays.

Spooky Acres Haunted House
Come celebrate 13 years of haunting with the March of Dimes annual Spooky Acres Haunted House. This year the event has been relocated to 4200 Portsmouth Blvd. In the Chesapeake Square Mall (in the former Ruby Tuesday’s Location) Don’t let the location fool you. Just because we are in a mall doesn't mean we can’t still scare the yell out of you! The haunt hasn't changed just the location. Somewhere when you least expect it you run into some of your worst nightmares. Perhaps in an autopsy room, or the electric chair, or worse, lost in a maze. Even the walls are determined to get you! Young and old alike are sure to have a frighteningly good scare or two at Spooky Acres!
