Stephen King's The Mist
Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the 'The Arrowhead Project' conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group's overall chances for survival. Retreating to a local supermarket, Drayton and the survivors must face-off against each other before taking a united stand against an enemy they cannot even see!

The story centers around a young Melbourne couple whose boat outing goes awry when their engine fails and they wind up drifting into a mangrove swamp around French Island. They set off on foot looking for a phone and find an isolated farmhouse, where they invite themelves in only to have the three unhappy owners come home from a pub.

SUBJECT 87 illustrates a world almost 200 years in the future, however one not too much unlike our own. Mankind had been wiped out by a chemical warfare mishap, and only a group of children had survived. The last five generations have been spent re-learning the technology and ways of the world and society. However, they were able to discover a few new interesting things of their own, such as the means to rebuild and reanimate those that had died before the man-made apocalypse.

The Backwoods
Summer 1978: an English couple Lucy (Virginie Ledoyen) and Norman (Paddy Considine) are going through a difficult patch in their relationship, and so decide to spend the summer in the house that their friends Paul (Gary Oldman) and his wife Isabel (Aitana Sanchez-Gijón) have bought in the north of Spain. Hidden away in the middle of a forest, and very much off the beaten track, the house seems ideal for some peaceful holidays.
The cultural differences with the locals lead by Paco (Lluis Homar) and an accidental discovery in an abandoned house in the middle of the forest will start a strong whirpool of violence between them.

The Eye
Sydney Wells is an accomplished, independent, Los Angeles-based concert violinist. She is also blind, and has been so since a childhood tragedy. As our story opens, Sydney undergoes a double corneal transplant, a surgery she has waited her whole life to have, and her sight is restored. After the surgery, neural ophthalmologist Dr. Paul Faulkner helps Sydney with the difficult adjustment, and with the support of her older sister Helen, Sydney learns to see again. But Sydney's happiness is short-lived as unexplainable shadowy and frightening images start to haunt her. Are they a passing aftermath of her surgery, Sydney's mind adjusting to sight, a product of her imagination, or something horrifyingly real? As Sydney's family and friends begin to doubt her sanity, Sydney is soon convinced that her anonymous eye donor has somehow opened the door to a terrifying world only she can now see.
