The Dead Inside
Independent film set in 1948 centering on two investigators looking into disappearnaces at a 19th century estate, and the paranormal horrors they uncover. The Dead Inside takes a standard haunted house story with some H.P. Lovecraft influence and turns it into something uniquely Canadian. Avoiding cliches such as breathing walls, portals to "hell", or any actual ghosts in the traditional sense, the story presents a sci-fi approach to a 1940's detective story set in a horror movie universe.
