Many of Dub Sinister's songs deal with the supernatural. Founder and Grand Architect Tate Hemlock is an amateur ghost hunter whose greatest passion outside of music is horror films and literature. Many of Dub Sinister's songs have been influenced by films like "Night of the Living Dead" or authors like Theodore Sturgeon and Philip K. Dick. Dub Sinister’s unique synthesis of electronic sounds, haunting guitar, urban beats and dub production techniques challenges the listener through the introduction of familiar and contemporary sounds in a brand new setting.
